ISAE-Supméca ISAE-Supméca
As a public post secondary education institution, ISAE?Supméca trains mechanical engineers with a strong scientific and technical culture, renowned for their competency and skills in numerical engineering, design and manufacturing. ISAE-Supméca engineers are particularly valued in the business world. In addition to their advanced scientific skills and versatility in mechanical engineering, they are known as field engineers who have: at least 12 months of industrial experience, 6 months of international experience on average and a strong sense of accountability.
AFIS AFIS
The Association Française d’Ingénierie Système (AFIS) has been created in 1998 by 13 companies willing to share experiences and know-how, willing to optimize and formalise their engineering practices. Nowadays, AFIS is composed of around 1000 individual members (System Engineers, System Architects, retired System Engineers, Student and Doctors) and around 50 members (large corporation, Small and Medium Enterprises, University and Research Centers). The AFIS fullfill several missions, as detailed hereafter. The AFIS is an affiliate member of International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and, according to a MOU signed in 1999, its offical representative in France. The AFIS is the French Chapter of INCOSE.
SAGIP SAGIP
SAGIP’s objective is to structure and promote the disciplines of its fields of activity. The central activities of the association are: the organisation (or co-organisation) of symposia and seminars (Industrial Engineering days, Automatic Control days, etc.); the organisation of its themes into thematic subfields led by working groups;the production of books and collections for archiving and promoting research results;the production of documents and the organization of meetings to promote the field in its diversity among the various stakeholders (universities, organizations, ministries and social and economic circles); and interaction with other learned societies in France (ROADEF, GRETSI,…).
S.mart S.mart
The Scientific Interest Group (GIS) S.mart brings together an open academic community to drive the scientific, technological, and societal transformation toward a sustainable Industry of the Future. The core values upheld by the GIS S.mart community are Collective Action, Sharing, and Diversity.
IEEE IEEE
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
IEEE Systems Council IEEE Systems Council
Formed in 2005, the IEEE Systems Council promotes, encourages, and supports the technical, academic and application aspects of systems engineering and systems thinking through its own activities, and with its Society members through joint activities for the growth of Council Affiliate membership, member Society membership, and for addressing overall global challenges.
IEEE IES IEEE IES
The Industrial Electronics Society through its members encompasses a diverse range of technical activities devoted to the application of electronics and electrical sciences for the enhancement of industrial and manufacturing processes. These technical activities address the latest developments in intelligent and computer control systems, robotics, factory communications and automation, flexible manufacturing, data acquisition and signal processing, vision systems, and power electronics. The Society continually updates its program of technical activities to meet the needs of modern industry.
